Pine Meadows Post Acute is seeking a qualified nurse to coordinate recruitment, staff education, and resident care in a long-term care setting. The role includes developing and coordinating In-Service education, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with licensing and training requirements.

Required RN or LVN/LPN license with CPR; BSN preferred; minimum 1 year direct patient care in long-term care plus 1 year education program planning experience, with 2+ years in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing and possession of a valid license to practice nursing as RN or LVN/LPN.
• BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care in long-term care plus 1 year planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs.
• 2+ years of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and participate in the recruiting and hiring of staff.
• Coordinate completion of and process employment-related documentation.
• Coordinate payroll and employee benefit programs.
• Plan, conduct and document/coordinate all required fire/internal disaster drills and external mass casualty drills.
• Supervise staff and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide direct resident/patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
