Napa Post Acute seeks a Director of Staff Development (DSD) to join our leadership team in Napa, CA. If you're an LVN who loves coaching, teaching, mentoring, and developing nursing talent, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

As DSD, you will lead staff education, training, competency validation, and clinical onboarding initiatives to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Qualificações

• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of LVN experience.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Passion for training, coaching, and developing others.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and conduct nursing orientation programs for new hires.
• Develop and implement ongoing clinical education and in-service programs.
• Ensure nursing staff maintain required competencies and certifications.
• Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Support infection prevention and control education efforts.
• Monitor mandatory training completion and maintain education records.
• Mentor and coach nurses, CNAs, and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and clinical excellence.
• Serve as a resource and educator for nursing staff throughout the facility.
