Job summary

The Behavioral Health and Emergency Department Nursing Professional Development Practitioner (NPD Practitioner) at Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs supporting BHU and ED services, under limited supervision.

Grounded in adult learning and ANA standards, this role promotes clinical excellence through onboarding oversight, competency validation, and at-the-elbow education for frontline staff with behavioral health or emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Maryland RN licensure and BLS required.
• National certification in Nursing Professional Development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates BHU/ED education programs.
• Provides frontline education and onboarding oversight.
• Partners with leadership to advance quality improvement and regulatory readiness.
