The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing and an RN license, with a day shift and coverage to support 24/7 unit operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of front line nursing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required.
• Excellent written and oral communications including strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the orientation process by developing, coordinating, facilitating, conducting and evaluating orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Assists with competency management, including data capture of knowledge and performance.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps in consultation with an NPD Specialist.
• Uses adult learning principles in planning, design, implementation and evaluation of educational activities.
• Collaborates with leadership to meet education needs of the site and nursing departments.
• Adjusts materials and teaching strategies to learner level, readiness, and culture.
• Evaluates the impact of programming on learners and patient outcomes with adjustments as needed.
• Develops and supports education needs with regional and system teams.
