Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supports orientation by developing, coordinating, facilitating and evaluating programs.
• Assists with competency management and data capture of knowledge and performance.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps with an NPD Specialist.
• Applies adult learning principles to planning, design, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes lifelong learning and role development for staff.
• Collaborates with leadership to meet education needs of site and nursing departments.
• Adapts materials and teaching methods to learner needs and culture.
• Evaluates impact of programming on learners and patient outcomes and adjusts as needed.
• Establishes evaluation tools to identify knowledge gaps and advance nursing practice.
• Develops education needs in collaboration with regional and system teams.
