Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Prof. Development Practitioner to lead staff education and practice transitions in Clermont, FL.

The role coordinates planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of educational outcomes, ensuring clinicians remain competent to perform independently. The incumbent will support lifelong learning and collaborate with leadership to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with a BSN degree.
• Current RN licensure in Florida required.
• National specialty certification must be obtained within two years of hire if available.
• Basic life support, advanced life support, pediatric ALS, neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and design education plans.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding for assigned areas with leadership.
• Lead quality and safety initiatives and evaluate outcomes.
• Develop evidence-based curricula aligned with ANPD standards.
• Monitor learner competency and provide feedback to stakeholders.
