Job summary
AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to advance evidence-based practice and professional development across the nursing staff. The role supports inquiry, quality improvement, and education initiatives using PDSA cycles, and requires delivery of educational programs and collaborative change in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing and RN licensure; ICU nursing experience and preferred ANCC-NPD or CCRN
Qualifications
- RN required with active license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- ICU nursing experience 2+ years required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for nursing professional development and clinical inquiry.
- Support evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and education initiatives.
- Disseminate findings through educational programs and activities.
- Collaborate with team to implement changes and foster learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
