Job summary

AnMed in Anderson, SC is seeking a Nursing Staff Development Educator for Telemetry/Step-Down to lead orientation, training, and ongoing nursing education.

You will onboard new employees, develop educational materials, and coordinate classroom, simulation, and clinical learning with nursing leadership and interprofessional teams. A SC RN license and 3–4 years of clinical experience are required; a Master’s degree is preferred or must be completed within 3 years.

Qualifications

• SC RN License is required.
• 3–4 years of clinical experience required (Telemetry/Step-Down experience preferred).
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field to be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides educational opportunities to meet orientation, training, and development needs of Nursing Service teammates.
• Responsible for onboarding new employees, creating educational materials, facilitating classroom, simulation, skill-based, virtual and clinical learning experiences.
• Works collaboratively with nursing leadership, clinical staff, interprofessional teams and organizational stakeholders.
• Develops educational materials, competency tools, learning activities and resources that support safe and effective nursing practice.
