Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required and RN licensure by SC Board or compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and thorough patient assessment; strong documentation in the Epic system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor telemetry for cardiac abnormalities.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Manage patients with a range of medical-surgical diagnoses and post-operative needs.
• Document nursing care, patient responses, and bedside shift reports accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Promote patient safety through adherence to infection control and fall prevention protocols.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional development.
