Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensure in New Mexico.
• BSN within five years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards of Practice in roles: Learning Facilitator, Change Agent, Mentor, Leader Champion for inquiry, Advocate for NPD specialty, Partner for Practice Transition.
• Onboarding/Orientation; Competency management; Education; Nurse Residency Program; Professional development.
• ASSIST: provide clinical resources; COLLABORATE: work with unit leadership on protocols; MONITOR: audit staff competency; PATIENT CARE: maintain safe direct care; PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: stay current with trends.
• Support safety initiatives; participate in performance improvement plans; organize schedules for education across shifts.
