Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a part-time coordinator for the FH Clinical Education Center to coordinate, develop, and evaluate clinical education programs. This role ensures alignment with FH policies, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards while supporting orientation for clinical staff and nursing residency programs.

The position requires a BSN or higher, Maryland RN licensure, and 3–5 years in healthcare education.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred; Baccalaureate Degree in area of practice is required.
• National Certification in area of specialty (Nursing Professional Development) within one year of hire or when eligible.
• Currently licensed as, or eligible for, a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
• Three to five years experience in area of practice required, knowledge of hospital operations or experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Two years previous healthcare education/training experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, monitor and evaluate educational programs for FH Clinical Education Center.
• Serve as educational consultant and align activities with FH initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Implements strategies for achieving competence and improving performance using adult education principles.
• Manage projects and convene project teams to meet deadlines and resources.
• Support Nursing Residency program and coordinate student affiliations.
