Job summary

Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a full-time RN Education Coordinator to lead staff orientation and ongoing clinical education for Nursing and CNA teams.

You will develop competency checklists, conduct patient-care rounds to identify learning needs, and collaborate with clinical leadership to implement an annual education plan, all while supporting a compassionate, team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• Three years’ experience in long-term care with Nursing Leader experience.
• Exceptional clinical skills including IV Therapy.
• Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide orientation for new employees.
• Work with the clinical staff during orientation to ensure effective onboarding for Nurses and CNAs.
• Coordinate, conduct and validate completion of competency checklist for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and as needed.
• Conduct patient care rounds daily to assess educational and clinical needs of the nursing staff.
• Assist in the development of the non-eLearning annual education plan for the center.
