Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
• Demonstrated clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in clinical and/or academic nursing settings.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Meet clinical onboarding and compliance requirements (BLS, background checks, drug screening, immunizations).

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and communicate clinical, laboratory, and simulation schedules and placement assignments for students and faculty.
• Communicate timely and accurate information to students, faculty, and clinical partners regarding assignments and requirements.
• Advise faculty regarding student clinical performance and assist with attendance and makeup arrangements.
• Serve as a resource for students and faculty and address clinical concerns during experiences, including some evenings/weekends.
• Monitor faculty and student clinical credentials and compliance.
• Maintain clinical affiliation agreements and cultivate partnerships to support program goals.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of clinical faculty.
• Monitor faculty clinical workload calculations and related assignments.
• Support curriculum implementation, evaluation, and accreditation standards in clinical activities.
• Participate in college meetings, committees, events, and professional development.
• Engage in scholarly activities and service to the College and the community.
• Comply with all applicable policies and guidelines.
