Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Nurse Director in Training in Toledo, OH. The role supports the Assistant/Director of Health Services in managing day-to-day nursing operations in a long-term care facility and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local standards.

You will participate in rounds, review resident records, monitor medications, and assist with staffing and QA initiatives, with a six-month training period to develop leadership skills within the nursing services department.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Learns and understands policies and procedures governing health campus care.
• Learns to coordinate nursing services to ensure continuity of residents' care.
• Assists in developing and maintaining QA program for nursing service.
• Participates in facility surveys and follows safety regulations.
• Supports campus goals and company objectives.
• Learns staffing needs for nursing service department.
• Assists in recruitment of nursing staff.
• Participates in daily rounds to ensure nursing staff meet standards.
• Reviews resident electronic health records for accuracy and relevance.
• Monitors medication passes and treatments as ordered.
• Provides direct nursing care as needed.
• Identifies weekend coverage and on-call duties.
• Learns to lead campus programs (CCM, CAR, QAPI).
• Other duties as assigned.
