Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 3–5 years experience in nursing/healthcare.
• Must have current RN license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Learns and understands policies and procedures that govern care levels within the Health Campus.
• Learns to coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Learns to develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Participates in facility surveys (inspections) by government agencies.
• Follows safety regulations, programs and policies.
• Supports campuses, departmental goals, and company objectives.
• Learns staffing needs to meet residents' nursing requirements.
• Assists in recruitment of nursing staff.
• Participates in daily rounds to ensure nursing standards are met.
• Reviews and audits resident electronic health records for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitors medication passes and treatments as ordered.
• Provides direct nursing care as necessary.
• Identifies weekend coverage and on-call duties.
• Learns to lead campus programs (CCM, CAR, QAPI).
• Other duties as assigned.
