Leadership opportunity available at Kent Hospital! Kent Hospital is hiring a Nurse Director for our Float Pool and Medical Unit.
What We Offer:
Primary Function: The Nurse Director, in collaboration with the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, is responsible for planning clinical services to ensure efficient and appropriate care delivery to the unit's patient population. The Nurse Director will adhere to organizational philosophies, ensure quality care in a cost-effective manner, and provide administrative leadership for clinical staff, policies, procedures, and programs. The role includes responsibility for the 24-hour delivery of nursing care in the department.
Job Qualifications and Specifications: BSN required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required. RI State Nursing Licensure required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program. BLS certification required. A minimum of five years of job-related experience is required; ten years preferred. Certification in administration or a related specialty is preferred and must be obtained within two years of hire.
