The role focuses on supervising nursing staff, coordinating with physicians and leadership, and maintaining excellence across pediatric to geriatric populations in fast-paced emergency environments.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN license active.
• Current state RN license in California.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required on hire.
• CEN preferred.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in acute care settings.
• At least two years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate patient care delivery.
• Develop and implement departmental plans and performance initiatives.
• Manage nursing personnel and resource utilization.
• Communicate hospital policies to staff and administration.
• Serve as house supervisor and respond to codes.
• Oversee care for diverse age groups in ED and critical care.
• Provide triage and treatment for emergency patients.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
