Job summary

Montage Health is seeking an Assistant Director in the Family Birth Center to collaborate with the director on planning, budgeting, and coordinating supplies, staffing, and care aligned with the hospital's strategic plan. The role supports Lean initiatives and quality improvement while guiding staff in performance excellence.

The position requires at least 3 years of RN experience in acute care, previous Charge RN or management experience, and CA licensure with ACLS/STABLE where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital within the past 5 years.
• Previous Charge RN or management experience is required.
• NICU or Level II nursery experience preferred.
• CA RN license is required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained before orientation completion for hires on/after 2025-01-01.
• STABLE certification required for hires after 2025-04-01.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and coordinate supplies/equipment, staffing, and care/service.
• Supervise daily department operations and serve as a resource for staff.
• Ensure orientation/training and competency for care/services.
• Support quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to performance improvement data analysis and policy development.
• Support fiscal viability with attention to expenses, revenue, utilization, and productivity.
