Job summary

LifeBridge Health in Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate clinical practice in the office and lead educational programs in collaboration with physicians and staff.

The role focuses on patient care optimization, policy development, and staff precepting, aligning with Joint Commission standards and LifeBridge Health customer service goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
  • Current Maryland RN license or eligibility; BLS CPR required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical team to ensure quality services and efficient patient care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and present ongoing educational and patient care programs using the nursing process.
  • Coordinate preceptor assignments for new staff and provide clinical guidance and support; serve as preceptor as needed.
  • Oversee and monitor work of designated staff and act as a clinical resource for nursing staff, physicians, and health-care team members.
  • Work to maximize patient flow and optimize use of patient templates.
  • Attend divisional and advisory meetings as an active member.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care while ensuring patient safety.
  • Help formulate, evaluate, and revise clinical practice guidelines, policies, and procedures.

About the Role:
  • Performs in collaboration with appropriate clinical personnel, participates in the coordination of clinical practice activities in the office through the development and implementation of educational and orientation programs and clinical problem solving. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient. Works in partnership with other staff members and physicians to proactively identify and provide for patient needs in accordance with LifeBridgeHealth customer service standards and expectations along with The Joint Commission's standards and expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works as a collaborative member of the clinical team to ensure quality clinical services and patient care operations. Initiates communication resulting in efficient delivery of patient care.
  • Participates in the development, implementation and presentation of ongoing educational and patient care programs utilizing the nursing process.
  • Coordinates assignments of preceptors for new personnel and provides clinical guidance and support as needed. Serves as a preceptor when required.
  • Oversees and participates with assignments and monitors work of designated staff.
  • Serves as clinical resource person to nursing staff, physicians, and other health care team members with regard to nursing practices/techniques and issues of concern.
  • Works to maximize patient flow and utilization of the patient templates.
  • Attends divisional meetings and advisory committee meetings as an active member.
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care, optimizing patient safety.
  • Assists in formulating, evaluating and revising guidelines for clinical practice, policies, procedures, protocols, etc.
  • Orients and trains assigned staff on revised policies, procedures and processes.
  • To function as advisor, resource, and leader for patients and members of the patient care team.
  • Participates in conducting in-service training programs for nursing staff and other health care professionals as required.
  • Assists in development of teaching tools and office policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR

Range $40.12-$62.19 based on experience and internal equity
