Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Georgia is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to guide the day-to-day delivery of established program processes and to work closely with the Nurse Manager.

You will perform assessments, provide direct patient care including medication administration, coordinate nursing efforts, supervise staff, ensure timely incident and infection control reporting, lead trainings, oversee medications, and maintain the medication room and lab in order.

• Performs assessments and data collection/analysis.
• Provides direct patient care including medication administration as needed and documents as outlined by policy and procedure.
• Coordinates nursing efforts, resolves problems, and maintains unit on a daily basis.
• Supervises staff, both clinically and administratively and documents supervision.
• Oversees the ordering and management of medications and keeps the medication room and lab in order.
• Communicates needs, issues, concerns, and compliments with the Nurse Manager on at least a weekly basis.
• Cover RN/LPN shifts as needed on the unit.
