Job summary
Redwood Coast Regional Center in Eureka, CA is seeking a Nurse Consultant to provide clinical, wellness, advocacy and administrative support for clients with developmental disabilities. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate services, arrange nursing assessments and review medical records.
The role requires a California RN license and a Public Health Nursing Certificate, with at least one year post-graduate nursing experience. Travel within the community is expected.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in nursing or BSN with 1 year post-graduate experience.
- California License as a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nursing Certificate required.
- 1 year post-graduate nursing experience preferred when working with developmentally disabled individuals.
Responsibilities
- Clinical: provide clinical consultation and support to Clients, families, staff and community agencies; participate in interdisciplinary teams and in planning/ evaluation; arrange nursing assessments and review medical records; advocate for generic resources.
- Wellness: support wellness in Clients and families; verify complete health services; visit Clients to identify health/safety concerns and document observations and planning; provide wellness trainings.
