Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a nurse leader to manage daily nursing activities and collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialist to assure quality patient care. The role includes implementing education on the unit and ensuring adherence to standards of care.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in nursing, Massachusetts RN licensure, and two years of tertiary care nursing experience with demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and current Massachusetts RN licensure and registration.
• Two years of current tertiary care nursing experience.
• One year of experience in clinical preceptor and/or resource role.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily activities of the nursing staff to facilitate optimal patient care.
• Collaborates with the Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist and others in implementation and evaluation of nursing and causality assurance and educational activities on assigned unit and related duties.
• All responsibilities are essential job functions.
