Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities and oversee daily operations on a busy unit. You will lead a team of nurses, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires an active MA RN license, a BSN or equivalent management experience, and at least two years of clinical experience with one year in a preceptor/resource role. Sign-on bonuses may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure and registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or management experience.
• Minimum of two years related clinical experience and at least one year experience in the clinical preceptor and/or resource role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates age-appropriate patient care activities and makes immediate decisions.
• Conducts daily patient care rounds and monitors nursing staff performance.
• Coordinates daily operations to assure staffing and patient flow within budget.
