Northside Hospital seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. This role emphasizes staff development, onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement to uphold high standards of care across units.

You will drive clinical practice enhancements and model excellence in nursing knowledge and care delivery, requiring strong leadership and communication throughout Northside Hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing or related field.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
• Must hold Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator.
• Responsible for staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement.
• Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education.
• Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
