Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a leadership RN to serve as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. The role focuses on staff development, orientation, onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement to uphold high nursing standards.

You will model clinical excellence, support adherence to standards of care, and participate in training, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited school.
• Licensed as a RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator.
• Responsible for staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement.
• Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education.
• Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
