Job summary

Responsibilities include optimizing staffing, coordinating with unit secretaries and nurses, directing bed assignment and patient throughput, and ensuring compliance with GBMC policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Three years of clinical experience required.
• ACLS certification preferred and Maryland RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: gather data, set priorities and supervise staffing coordinators.
• Bed Management: assign beds per level of care and coordinate with units.
• Patient Flow: analyze data and improve throughput; address flow issues.
• Coordination Activities: rapid response quality checks and emergency readiness.
• Evenings/Nights/Weekends: handle employee relations and policy guidance.
