Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Educator to promote high-quality, cost-effective care through expert clinical education. You will collaborate with leadership to plan goals and foster innovation via learning with the clinical education team, unit leadership, and staff.

You will coordinate orientation for new staff, assess competencies, support quality initiatives, and maintain education records, guiding ongoing professional development across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in relevant care setting.
• Experience in nursing staff development or adult education required.

Responsibilities

• Provides education to staff on regulatory standards, clinical practice issues, and safety standards.
• Coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates orientation for new unit staff.
• Participates in competency determination and collaborates to ensure consistency.
• Engages in unit and hospital-wide quality improvement activities and council work.
• Maintains staff education tracking records.
• Collaborates with Clinical Director and Unit Leadership to meet goals.
• Attends educational opportunities and presents summaries to groups.
• Participates in candidate interviews and evaluates fit for roles.
• Contributes to staff performance evaluations and development plans.
• Encourages staff participation in seminars, meetings, and governance activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

MSN preferred

3+ years RN experience
