Job summary

Zenith Insurance Company is seeking a registered nurse to manage medical and disability workers’ compensation claims in California. You will coordinate case management, communicate with injured workers and medical professionals, assess injuries and plan return-to-work strategies, and document all actions in the Zenith system.

The role requires an RN license, strong communication skills, and experience in UR and case management.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current and unrestricted in the state of assignment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in workers’ compensation, UR, and return-to-work practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of medical and disability workers’ compensation claims.
• Communicate with injured employees, medical professionals, and employers to obtain necessary information.
• Assess injury severity, disability, and return-to-work timelines; coordinate treatment.
• Direct referrals to panel providers and negotiate treatment plans within regulations.
• Document interventions and rationale in Zenith system per guidelines.
• Coordinate early and safe return-to-work releases with all parties.
