Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO, is seeking participants for a Certified Nurse Assistant training program in the Neuro Trauma ICU South. You will work under nursing supervision to provide basic patient care, take vitals, bathe, and assist with mobility during night shifts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and MO CNA licensure or completion of the MO CNA appendix within 120 days. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior patient care or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Missouri CNA license or completion of MO CNA appendix required/obtained within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Take vitals, assist with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist in maintaining patient comfort and safety during shifts.
