Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO seeks a Nurse Assistant Trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. You will perform vitals, hygiene, transfers, and comfort measures on a 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM night shift on a 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Missouri CNA License (MO CNA) or MO CNA Appendix; must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens under supervision.
• Obtain information on patient condition and report changes to nursing staff.
• Participate in clinical rotations and competency assessments to validate learning.
