Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Medical/Surgical Telemetry 3W unit in Michigan. The role supports patient care on the night shift (7p–7:30a) under RN supervision, contributing to a patient-centered environment.

You will perform day-to-day tasks and assist with patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, mobility, hygiene, and close adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Formal medical careers training or enrollment in nursing school OR 2+ years experience in Patient Care Associate/Nurse Assistant.
• BLS certification required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to identify and attain treatment goals.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provides physical support for daily activities and hygiene (bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility).
• Ensures compliance with health care regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains safe, clean environment and adheres to infection control policies.
• Performs other related job duties as requested.
