Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality care on the Nursing Float Pool during night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am). The role encompasses patient assessment, plan-of-care execution, and supervision of ancillary staff within unit standards of practice.

Ideal candidates will have a Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS; prior specialty experience is preferred. This full-time position supports ongoing clinical studies and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Experience in specialty area preferred to maintain competency.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS certification as Healthcare Provider in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient, document and evaluate response to plan of care.
• Plan and implement patient care and provide teaching.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
• Pursue quality improvement and unit competency development.
• Engage in research dissemination and clinical pathways.
