Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Part Time Nurse Assistant to join the Med Surg/Telemetry team. You will support daily living activities, provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN, and help maintain a safe patient environment.

Required: current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS within 30 days of hire, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and at least six months’ experience in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintains a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
