Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry department for night shifts. This full-time role supports basic nursing care and daily living activities under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and maintains a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.30 to $22.07. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
