Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator/Nursing Assistant (HUC NA) for the Main Campus in Kettering, OH. This role combines HUC duties with Nursing Assistant tasks and supports patient care as part of the interdisciplinary team.

The HUC NA will assist with daily living activities, document patient information, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff. Requires KH training completions, CPR/BLS certification, and eligibility criteria for nursing-related roles.

Qualifications

• KH Health Coordinator training completed upon hire
• KH Nursing Assistant Orientation completed upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification held
• One of: nursing assistant experience in hospital/long-term facility; recent nursing assistant course; nursing student/pre-nursing; current KH employee

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care tasks as delegated by the licensed nurse.
• Coordinate day-to-day patient care unit activities with unit leadership and communicate with nursing staff, physicians and interdepartmental personnel.
• Serve as an EMR resource for physicians and health care team members.
• Maintain knowledge and skills for delegated tasks and support department operations.
