Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Assistant to join the care team. The NA assists patients with activities of daily living, delivers compassionate, individualized care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and helps meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in alignment with MercyOne's mission.

The role requires eligibility on the Iowa registry or proof of CNA training, EMT certification, or military medical occupation training.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old; in some areas 18 years old.
Must meet at least one of: Iowa registry active, 75-hour CNA course, EMT Certification, or military medical occupation training.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training required within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years.
