Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is actively seeking caring caregivers to provide companionship and support in NW Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. We value compassion, reliability, and clear communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED certificate.
• Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Successful completion of state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
• Current CPR certificate is recommended.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Prevent client falls through safety and supervision.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Prepare and cook meals for clients.
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, or activities.
• Light housekeeping.
• Help clients meet nutritional standards.
• Perform homemaking tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Responsibilities Include :

• 6. Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile.

Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
