Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cuyahoga West is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care throughout Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. You will assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship in a respectful, HIPAA-compliant environment.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN, 12-hour shifts), RN oversight, supportive leadership, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.

Schedule Include:

• Someone who can work Fulltime
• Different shifts are available (AM, PM, Night shift)
• Minimum 0f 36-40 hours per week
• We are lookin for someone ready for on call
• Someone who has high Flexibility in terms of Schedule and Location
• Should be available to work in the west part of Cleveland.
