Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. We are hiring for PRN day and night shifts across Critical Care, Telemetry, Ortho Med/Surg, and Float Pool.

Ideal candidates adapt quickly, pursue self-driven learning, and function well within a team. You will support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical tasks, patient service coordination, and nursing care under the supervision of licensed nurses.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Apprentice application on file with Idaho State Board required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA/ARC/Military Training Network required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge to competently care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional services under supervision of licensed nurse.
