Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ID, is seeking a Nurse Apprentice for part-time day and night shifts across multiple departments including Critical Care, Telemetry, Ortho Med/Surg and Float Pool.

The ideal candidate will be adaptive, eager to learn, and a team player, with responsibilities spanning clerical duties, patient service coordination, and nursing care under licensed staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board required.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire in all units (AHA/ARC or Military Training Network) unless ACLS/PALS in SAHS crosswalk.
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under supervision of a licensed nurse.
