Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team. This is a part-time, PRN day and night position across Critical Care, Telemetry, Ortho Med/Surg and the Float Pool.

The ideal candidate adapts quickly, is eager to learn, and works well as part of a team. You will support clinical staff at the unit level and perform nursing care tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following CNA/UAP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the direction of the licensed nurse.
