Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Apprentice at Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV. This per diem role supports nursing care and coordinates patient treatments in a medical/surgical setting, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and nursing procedures.

You'll assess patient health, develop a plan of care, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and liaise with doctors and staff to deliver high-quality care. This is an on-site opportunity with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Student nurse currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing.
• First year of clinical rotations completed in an acute care hospital.
• CNA license currently held.
• BLS certification active.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy.
• Formulate patient care plans with RN preceptor.
• Revise and evaluate plan of care daily with RN supervision.
• Administer treatments per patient age and condition under RN supervision.

Education

Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing

First year of clinical rotations completed in an acute care hospital

Current C.N.A. license

Current BLS certification
