Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a Nurse Apprentice for per diem shifts in Henderson, NV. You will perform patient care activities under licensed staff, in compliance with the Nevada Nurse Practice Act and state board guidelines.

Qualifications

• Per Diem shift varied.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Nurse Apprentice must provide the most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.
• Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Education

Nursing program enrollment (currently enrolled in accredited program)

Completed first semester of nursing program
