Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV seeks a Nurse Apprentice to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor. You will communicate with the RN preceptor about changes in patient conditions and diagnostic findings.

The role supports acute rehabilitation and behavioral health services, offering a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams and opportunities to develop clinical skills under supervision.

Formación

Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing.
Has completed the fundamentals course in nursing school.
Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

Demonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for bedside report using IMAP & SBAR in partnership with patient inside room.
Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments per policy across age groups.
In coordination with RN preceptor, formulate a patient care plan.
Ability to revise plan of care as indicated by patient response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily under RN supervision.
