Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Licensure to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania.
- National CRNA certification.
- Academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
- Evidence of progressive leadership and academic responsibilities.
- Evidence of effective teaching and scholarly productivity.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment of the nursing program with the College mission and educational goals, in collaboration with the Director.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory bodies in collaboration with the Director.
- Monitor accrediting agency policies to maintain compliance with the program.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum with faculty and staff.
- Assist in budgeting and allocation of resources to support faculty and students.
- Supervise clinical faculty and coordinate orientation and development activities.
- Administer anesthesia one day per week and participate in clinical instruction.
- Review completed program applications and participate in admissions committees.
- Track clinical placements and coordinate simulation and laboratory activities.
- Maintain program records and prepare monthly/annual reports.
