Del Mar College is seeking a PROGRAM DIRECTOR for the NATCEP pool who will oversee nurse aide training, or directly perform it, with travel to approved sites as needed. The role requires current RN licensure in Texas and nursing experience, including long-term care exposure.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a salary of $45 per hour. Local travel and compliance with HHSC rules are essential, and the department focuses on continuing education within the college.

Qualifications

• RN Texas license required.
• Two years nursing experience with at least one year in long-term care.
• Course focused on teaching adult students or experience teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides.

Responsabilités

• Direct NATCEP in compliance with Texas HHSC rules.
• Directly perform nurse aide training or supervise instructors and trainers.
• Ensure NATCEP records are maintained.
• Determine if trainees passed the training portion of NATCEP.
• Sign competency evaluation applications for trainees who passed training.
• Sign certificates or letters confirming completion or pass of training.
• Other related job duties as assigned.
