Job summary

Southeast KY Community & Technical College is seeking a Nurse Aide Instructor for the Knox Campus to teach in the expanded Nursing Assistant program, including day, evening, and/or distance-learning courses. This is a Full-time 10-month position.

The start date for this position is January 1, 2027. In addition to teaching, faculty will instruct the Nurse Aide and Kentucky Medication Aide courses, maintain records, and participate in professional development and college service within the Allied

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing with a minimum of two years of experience.
• Minimum one year of long-term care experience as an RN.
• MOI training (or must complete) is required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct the 88.5-hour Nurse Aide course with lectures, skills lab, and clinical training.
• Instruct the 105-hour Kentucky Medication Aide course with lecture, labs, and clinical training.
• Instruct Health Science courses for dual-credit students and maintain required records.
