Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support patient care across Atrium Health Union locations. The role includes bathing, feeding, vital signs, documentation, and assisting with mobility.

The candidate will work 2 x 12-hour shifts weekly, primarily 7a-7p, with weekend rotation and floating to other campuses. Required: high school diploma or GED, NA I/II certification eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NA II training program or student nurse meeting BON requirements.
• Current listing with Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II registries.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care for patient comfort (bathing, grooming,skin care).
• Feeds patients, monitors intake and dietary records.
• Records vital signs and basic measurements.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Maintains patient rooms and documents care activities.
• Operates and maintains medical equipment as directed by RN/LPN.
• Provides CPR and participates in safe patient handling.
