Job summary

Prince George County Public Schools invites applications for a Nurse Aide Instructor in the Career & Technical Education department. The role plans, delivers, and assesses a Nurse Aide program aligned with Virginia Board of Nursing and NNAAP standards.

The instructor will provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and supervised clinical instruction while promoting student achievement and career readiness in healthcare.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet Virginia licensure requirements and Nurse Aide Education Program regulations.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two years nursing experience with at least one year of direct patient care.
Preferred: experience teaching CNA curriculum.
Current CPR/BLS Instructor certification or ability to obtain.
Experience using instructional technology and LMS.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with CTE competencies.
Develop daily lesson plans, labs, simulations, and assessments.
Deliver classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction.
Differentiate instruction to meet learning needs.
Coordinate supervised clinical experiences with healthcare facilities.
Monitor and evaluate student performance during clinical experiences.
Maintain accurate student records and communications with partners.
