Job summary

South Piedmont Community College seeks a Nurse Aide Adjunct Instructor to teach day and evening classes on the Polkton and Monroe campuses. The position supports a learning-centered environment and contributes to program outcomes.

The instructor will develop curriculum, facilitate learning through diverse methods, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining professional credentials and accessibility for all students.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered NC license as a registered nurse.
• Has at least two (2) years (4000 hours) of experience as a registered nurse in the United States.
• Meets at least one: course in teaching adults; experience in teaching adults; experience in supervising nurse aides.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Nurse Aide courses on Polkton and Monroe campuses, including day and evening offerings.
• Develop learning strategies and curriculum to promote effective teaching and learning.
• Facilitate learning through classroom activities, distance learning, and work-based experiences.
